The Non-Immigrant ED Plus Visa (Non-ED Plus Visa)

for international students studying at universities in Thailand at the bachelor's degree level or above

Required documents:

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months and contain at least ONE completely empty visa page.

2. ONE visa application form completely filled out.

3. One recent color photo with white background of 2 inches, with a full-faced view, and must be taken within 6 months. Photocopy of photograph will not be accepted.

4. Bank statements or sponsorship letter covering tuition fees.

5. An official letter from the university in Thailand at the bachelor's degree level or above confirming the acceptance of the student.

6. An official letter confirming the enrollment details at the bachelor's degree level or above which must be signed by an authorized person and a copy of ID card/Passport of the authorized person.

Number of Entry: Single

Validity of Visa: 3 months

Period of Stay: up to 90 days

Visa Fee: 2,300 NTD (in cash only)

Benefits: Exempted from Re-Entry Permit

• Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents, or an interview, as deemed necessary, and the right to reject any application without having to provide reasons.
• Visa fee is non-refundable.
• Nationals of certain countries are required to apply a visa only at the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Thai Embassy. Therefore, travelers are advised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure.
• Nationals from Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Central African Republic, China, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Guinea, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Nepal, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Republic of the Congo, São Tomé and Príncipe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen who have residence visa in Taiwan can apply Non-ED Plus Visa at this Office.
