The visa is expected to attract new foreign residents, technologies and talents contributing to domestic spending and investment while supporting economic growth.

Eligibility:

• Wealthy Global Citizen (LTR-W)
  Wealthy individuals holding at least USD 1 million in assets
• Wealthy Pensioner (LTR-P)
  Retirees aged 50 years and older who have an annual pension or stable income
• Work-from-Thailland Professional (LTR-T)
  Remote workers working for well-established overseas companies
• Highly-skilled Professional (LTR-H)
  Professionals or experts in targeted industries working for business entities or higher education instisutes or research centers in Thailand or Thai Government agencies
• Dependants (LTR-O)
  Spouse and children under 20 years old of LTR visa holders (Maximum 4 dependants in total per one LTR visa holder)

Application and Issuance

1. Register and submit the application to BOI

2. Applicants will be notified of the result within 20 working days after having received complete documents.

3. Qualified applicants may proceed to Royal Thai Embassy/Royal Thai Consulate-General/Thailand Trade and Economic Office overseas OR Immigration Office in Thailand within 60 days from the issuance date of the endorsement letter.

Required documents for visa issuance:

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months and contain at least ONE completely empty visa page.

2. ONE visa application form completely filled out.

3. Original Taiwan identification card OR Taiwan resident certificate with ONE photocopy

4. One photograph of the applicant, photocopy of photograph will not be accepted. (Photograph must have white background with the width and height of 35 mm and 45 mm respectively, with a full-faced view, the length of the head is between 32 to 36 mm, without wearing a hat / dark glasses and must be taken within 6 months.)

5. Notification of qualification endorsement for Long-Term Resident Visa (Validity of the Letter is 60 days)

Notice : 

1. Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents, or an interview, as deemed necessary, and the right to reject any application without having to provide reasons.

2. Thailand Trade and Economic Office reserves the right not to accept any visa application whereby any required document is absent.

3. Visa processing time may take up to 15 days.
